Securing sponsorship

When you approach businesses for sponsorship you need to be able to sell youself; the presentation we design will do the hard bit for you.

Unless your potential sponsors have a personal interest in your career they will be considering your proposal first and foremost as a marketing prospect. Ideally your sporting activities should in some way relate to their product or services, although it is not strictly necessary as most businesses like to be seen to support sporting activities and healthy living.  Remember many companies are happier to provide goods or services instead of direct financial support.

Team Work
..is all about teamwork!

In order to produce a presentation for you which contains all the right information you will need to:

  • answer some detailed questions through informal interview (This can be done either by email, telephone or ideally in person.)
  • gather together all your favourite photographs
  • loan us your press cuttings
  • supply contact details for your sport's governing body
  • tell us about your track record and ambitions for the future
  • outline the levels of media coverage (if any)that you get at present
  • work out a budget to establish what you need
Please note: it is the responsibility of the owner of the photographs sent to us to obtain permission for their use in a cv/portfolio.  Sponsorship Design cannot be held responsible for royalties or copyright infringement of photographs supplied for use.  A photographic service is available if required.
